This is how Cristofer introduces himself, ‘I’m an artist, a philosopher, a bird man, a son of God. I love reading, love, music, and nature walks.’
Cristofer Puleo has autism and spells to communicate. Cris is an artist whose paintings have been featured by The Staten Island Council of The Arts Exhibition, and featured on silk scarves produced by CrimsonRise. He has donated all of the proceeds from his art shows and the sale of the scarves to charitable causes. In his artwork, Cris says that he captures the energy of emotion rather than any particular object.
Cris has written lessons on regulation and has been a Keynote presenter at Motormorphosis. Two of Cris’ goals are educating the public on the mind/body disconnect that is present in autistic bodies and training more practitioners to support spellers like himself. He is a deeply spiritual person who loves sharing his insights with the world. His book My contribution to collective consciousness: By a nonspeaking autistic speller is a wonderful collection of his thoughts and reflections.
